In this role, you may be asked to support both our catering/kitchen and cleaning departments within our Residential Care facility. You will be supervised by the Hotel Services Manager ensuring that you maintain an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and food service delivery. Some of the key duties include assisting in waste removal, stock rotation, dishwashing, maintaining clean work areas, food preparation, serving of resident’s food and the use of commercial cleaning equipment. Availability across morning and afternoon over a 7-day roster is essential.

The successful candidate will take pride in their work, actively participate as a team, contribute to the coordination and cleanliness of the kitchen, stock room and surrounds.

The Maintenance Officer ensures facilities are maintained to a high standard, meeting all safety, compliance, and quality requirements. The role involves delivering scheduled and reactive maintenance, coordinating contractors, maintaining accurate records, and providing responsive, professional service to residents, staff, and stakeholders to support a safe and well-functioning environment.

• Maintain facilities to a high standard in compliance with building codes, Australian Safety Standards, and budgetary requirements, ensuring all equipment and assets are safe and operational.
• Coordinate and deliver scheduled and reactive maintenance, including allocating jobs, managing approved contractors, and responding to emergencies and mechanical failures.
• Maintain internal and external fixtures, plant and equipment, air-conditioning systems, cleaning tasks, and Legionella control records, with accurate service and asset logs.
• Accurately complete maintenance records, safety inspections, purchase and work orders, and maintain documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures.
• Provide professional, responsive customer service by communicating effectively with residents, staff, contractors, and stakeholders, addressing enquiries promptly and prioritising work that directly impacts consumer wellbeing

• Holds relevant post-trade or advanced certification with practical experience in general maintenance.
• Physically capable and technically skilled in the safe use of tools, equipment, and manual handling practices.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to deliver quality outcomes with minimal supervision in busy environments.
• Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with a professional, respectful, and customer-focused approach
• Demonstrates strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and working knowledge of WHS, building systems, and maintenance technologies.
• A current Australian driver’s licence (P2 or above) with a willingness to drive is essential.

We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Team Leader (Retirement Living) to lead the delivery of property maintenance and resident services across our Retirement Living portfolio. This role is responsible for coordinating high-quality, timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair across homes, common areas and grounds, while ensuring services meet legislated and regulatory standards, contractual obligations and resident needs.

You will oversee day-to-day team workloads, provide leadership and support to Maintenance Officers and Gardeners, and help ensure preventative and reactive maintenance programs are delivered safely and efficiently. Working closely with residents, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will act as a trusted point of contact for property-related requests, coordinate work orders and contractor performance, and help maintain safe, well-presented and functional environments across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead day-to-day delivery of property maintenance and resident services across Retirement Living homes, common areas and grounds
• Oversee team workloads, providing direction, guidance and support to Maintenance Officers and Gardeners
• Manage preventative and reactive maintenance schedules, including grounds and seasonal programs
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, work orders and minor hands-on maintenance to ensure work is completed safely, on time and within budget
• Act as the primary contact for resident maintenance and property-related requests, responding promptly and professionally
• Conduct regular inspections to identify defects, hazards and continuous improvement opportunities
• Ensure compliance with WHS, legislative, contractual and organisational requirements, including safe maintenance of plant, equipment and building systems
• Maintain accurate records, inspection reports, service logs, purchase orders and maintenance documentation in relevant systems
• Provide high-quality customer service by following through on resident enquiries, complaints and urgent issues, and keeping residents informed of progress

• Trade qualifications and/or equivalent practical experience in maintenance, property or facilities services
• Strong experience in facilities or property maintenance, ideally within aged care, retirement living, hospitality or healthcare
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including team coordination, coaching and performance support
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully with residents, contractors and stakeholders
• Ability to prioritise team workload, respond to urgent issues and balance coordination with hands-on operational support
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements, contractor management and safe maintenance practices
• Strong organisation, problem-solving and record-keeping skills, with confidence using maintenance systems and digital tools
• Confidence using tools and equipment safely, with the physical ability to undertake the practical requirements of the role
• A current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required; participation in an on-call roster may be required

The Village Liaison Officer plays an important role in supporting a positive, welcoming and well-organised village environment. This role provides day-to-day resident engagement, communication, administrative and operational support, working closely with residents, the Village Manager and the broader team. The position is responsible for helping residents access information, coordinating communications and activities, maintaining accurate records, supporting village events and ensuring resident requests, feedback and administrative matters are managed in a timely and professional manner.

This is a multi-site role across all of our villages, and the successful candidate will be required to travel between sites as needed to support operational and resident needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support resident communication and engagement across the village.
• Coordinate welcome and onboarding activities for new residents.
• Assist with newsletters, notices, event information and other resident communications.
• Record, track and follow up resident feedback, requests and concerns.
• Support village events, including RSVP tracking, guest lists and attendance coordination.
• Maintain resident records, activity logs, milestone calendars and relevant documentation.
• Coordinate administrative and operational tasks, including maintenance requests and other village services.
• Assist with event planning, scheduling and yearly activity coordination.
• Use relevant systems to update records, manage tasks, support reporting and maintain accurate data.
• Support inspections, contract review processes and other compliance-related activities.
• Attend team meetings and contribute updates, feedback and relevant information.
• Support ongoing process improvement and use of digital systems.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably directed.

You are a friendly, organised and reliable person who enjoys working with older people and building positive relationships with residents. You will be confident communicating face-to-face, following through on requests, and supporting a busy village environment with professionalism, care and attention to detail.

You will bring:

• Experience in an administrative, customer service or resident-facing role.
• A warm, approachable and helpful manner, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confidence liaising with residents, responding to enquiries and supporting positive resident relationships.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completion.
• Good attention to detail and consistency in managing administrative tasks, records and follow-up actions.
• Confidence using technology, including Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, email, shared drives and CRM or similar systems.
• Ability to log and track maintenance requests, update records, assist with newsletters, support events and help coordinate inspections.
• Previous experience in retirement living, aged care, property management, real estate or a similar service environment, desirable but not essential.

Provide assistance in organising and executing therapy programs for allied health, both community exercise group and individual activities, following AHA guidelines and supervision from a physiotherapist or occupational therapist. Are you a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months’ full-time experience and current AHPRA registration? As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to residents. Your role will require exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively respond to emergencies. Additionally, experience in a clinical leadership role, acute care and strong organisational abilities are highly preferred.
