Financial & Operational Oversight: Hold overarching financial accountability and monitor operational performance for the South Australian Residential Care Facilities. This includes expert management of Care Minutes reporting, budget development, workforce utilisation, and infrastructure management. Support Aged Care compliance and continuous Improvement at sites.

Silo Breaking & Collaboration: Act as the key connection between site General Managers, central Executive, and external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless, consistent, and high-performing care experience across all sites.

Community Engagement: Deepen engagement with local communities and health services, building meaningful partnerships to enhance referral pathways and strengthen LHG’s reputation and profile in South Australia.

Joining LHG means stepping into a great work culture powered by a value-driven environment. We recognise the importance of work-life balance for our staff and actively support flexible work practices. In return for your strategic expertise, we offer a competitive remuneration package, complemented by access to beneficial salary packaging options to maximise your take-home pay.

About You:

You are not just an operational manager; you are a strategic thinker and a passionate advocate for aged care excellence. You thrive on challenge, possess a strong grasp of operational realities, and are motivated by achieving measurable outcomes.

You will possess:

  • Demonstrated success in senior, multi-site leadership within residential aged care or a comparable health environment, with a solid grasp of financial management, budget control, and operational performance indicators.
  • The ability to operate as the 2IC to the Executive Manager, demonstrating strategic influence, high-level reporting capability, and the decisiveness required to drive change and manage significant projects like the Fullerton building works.
  • A proven track record of building high-performing teams. You are a skilled communicator with exceptional relationship-building capability, able to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Deep knowledge of aged care regulation, quality standards, and clinical governance frameworks, ensuring unwavering commitment to resident outcomes and continuous improvement.
