About the Role
Enjoy a balanced work schedule with shifts across four days:

Based in Glynde, this role is perfect for someone passionate about delivering high-quality cooking services while making a real difference. You’ll play a key role in creating meals that not only meet but exceed consumer expectations in a supportive and purpose-driven environment.

You will actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, maintain safe and hygienic kitchen practices, and manage resources responsibly with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental awareness.

What will you do?

• Deliver high-quality, nutritious meals in accordance with food safety legislation, aged care standards, and organisational policies.
• Prepare and coordinate texture-modified meals and special diets to meet individual consumer dietary requirements and preferences.
• Support an exceptional dining experience by promoting consumer choice, dignity, and satisfaction in menu planning and service delivery.
• Maintain compliance with Food Safety Plans, including accurate documentation, hygiene standards, and audit requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, effective stock control, and responsible resource management within the kitchen.

More About you

• Holds a recognised Chef qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Chef role, ideally within aged care or high-volume food service environments.
• Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Knowledgeable in food quality and control systems, aged care standards, and safe food handling practices, with attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
